With this background, I find VAB to be an excellent platform as it gives me the opportunity to contribute to shaping sustainable, equitable and future-ready enterprises by leveraging my experience in business technology, AI and digital transformation. What I really like is the diverse topics of conversation and leading experts as futurists, leading entrepreneurs, AI and sustainability experts and more who curate acumen and success. The community is closely knit and always investing in and supporting each other. It is a great family to be part of!

In what area do you feel board advisors can add the most value for Boards of Directors (BoDs) and executive teams?

My executive leadership experience spans working with Fortune 500 companies, startups  and fostering alliances with industry and government on digital and talent acceleration for the future of digital, consumer, retail and work transformation. From my experience, I can share that organisations need to navigate rapid change in technology, demographics and economies; aligning innovation with purpose has never been more critical. Advisory boards can enable startups and corporations, executives and boards as well, to not only be prepared for the future but also drive change responsibly.

What would be your dream company/organisation to work with as a board advisor/NED?

I am passionate about creating a better future for 7.8 billion+ people on this planet with core and emerging digital technologies, especially AI, IoT, XR, quantum, edge and agents as a force for good and growth and a strong advocate for wellness. As such, I am keen to work with a forward looking,  technology-oriented and people-first company on a path to creating a better future and open to responsible innovation transformation.

What book or podcast would you recommend to VAB members that might improve their skills in corporate governance, board advisory or boosting board-to-executive team communications?

I would certainly suggest these two: Find your Why by Simon Sinek and Getting Things Done by David Allen.
